A Most Remarkable Tale

Allow us to set forth a most delightful tale—one that began not within the grandest of ballrooms, but in the familiar streets of San Juan, where two young souls first found themselves crossing paths.
A young man named Jan caught Pearl's attention, though she thought he looked far too serious to be worth pursuing. Little did she know that, with a little determination and the help of a mutual friend, he would soon find her on Facebook, beginning a sweet young romance that, like many first loves, ended too soon.
Believing distance would stand between them, they parted ways and spent the next decade living separate lives; loving, losing, growing, and becoming the very people they were meant to be.
But fate, ever the patient author, was far from finished. Nearly ten years later, a simple message reopened a chapter both had long believed was closed. Conversation rekindled a friendship, and before long, so did the love they once shared. There was no grand declaration, only Jan's charmingly simple, "tayo na ah?" And somehow, it was all that was needed.
